About the role

You’ll build Shopify pages, theme components and A/B test variations, plus the application and integration work those experiences need. The role spans frontend and backend development; you should be comfortable following a customer action through the whole system.

Designs come through Figma and experiment briefs come from our strategists. You’ll help resolve technical decisions, implement the experience and verify it before release. Accurate implementation, performance and code that is easy to change all matter.

What you’ll do

  • Build responsive Shopify themes, sections, landing pages and experiment variants from Figma designs.
  • Implement custom functionality across Liquid, JavaScript, backend services and Shopify APIs.
  • Connect storefront actions to apps and integrations, including cart, product and order flows where relevant.
  • Check responsive behaviour, accessibility, loading performance and interactions across browsers.
  • Use version control, keep changes reviewable and avoid breaking existing storefront or experiment behaviour.
  • Use AI-assisted coding where useful, while reviewing and testing the code you deliver.

What you’ll bring

  • Production Shopify experience across storefront and backend work. Around five years of relevant development experience is recommended.
  • Strong Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, plus practical backend and Shopify API experience.
  • You can translate Figma accurately, including spacing, responsive behaviour and interaction states.
  • You can trace an issue from the storefront to an app or API, work with Git and test the full flow before handing it over.

This is a full-time remote role. Singapore-hour overlap is not required.
