About the role
You’ll oversee other strategists and take responsibility for the quality of their research, roadmaps, experiment briefs and recommendations. You’ll also work directly with brands on the commercial decisions behind the testing programme.
This is a hands-on leadership role based in Singapore, with a hybrid arrangement to discuss together. You need specific CRO experience and the ability to improve someone else’s thinking, not just deliver your own work.
What you’ll do
- Review research, test priorities and briefs with strategists before they go into design and development.
- Coach strategists on forming useful hypotheses, interpreting results and leading clear client conversations.
- Help brands choose between competing opportunities across acquisition, pricing, offers and the buying journey.
- Challenge conclusions that the evidence cannot support, including apparent wins that weaken contribution.
- Resolve gaps between the strategic brief, the design and what is actually implemented.
- Turn learning across experiments into better research questions and stronger future roadmaps.
What you’ll bring
- Experience leading CRO or experimentation programmes for ecommerce brands. Around five years of relevant experience is recommended.
- You can review a strategist’s work, identify the gap in their reasoning and help them improve the brief or recommendation.
- You can decide what should run next when conversion, order value and contribution point in different directions.
- You can challenge a founder’s assumption, explain an inconclusive result and give the team a clear next step.
